Mountains. Breathtaking landscapes that have been here since the beginning of time itself. If they only had a voice. This work is an audio visual installation whereby the viewer is sucked in by the Icelandic mountains. The projected mountains are translated into music. Giving the viewers the feeling that the mountains have a voice and are communicating with us.

Atelier dittó and sound engineer Hjálmar Örn Gunnarsson, created this work for List í ljósi lights festival, an annual lights festival taking place each February, celebrating the return of the sun after a long winter by transforming the Icelandic town Seyðisfjörður and landscape into a brightly lit hub of activity. The installation was projected on a facade of one of the townhouses, blending into the mountain range.
